about

Here’s a taster of what we did in (mostly) 2023 and some classics from way back in the day. A collection of beauties from the Disappear and Chris Coco Music catalogues at a very reasonable price, for Balearic summer dreaming.

1 Antonio Prosper - Electro Balear
This is the b side of a single from early summer by Ibiza native Antonio, who is also the DJ and bass player in the Pikes house band.

2 Florecer Coyote - The Biggest
The grower on this collaborative EP from UK’s finest Balearic Beards and the Florecer duo from Cali, so expect deep bas and floating melodies

3 Warriors of the Dystotheque - Beachside Drive
The uber-Balearic instrumental version of Be My Star, played out at all the places that matter on the island.

4 Nick & Samantha - Bitter Sweet Song
A song about the end of the season, or the end an affair, perfect for plays just after sunset on a deep blue kind of day.

5 Coco Steel & Lovebomb - La Isla
A classic from the early 90s when CSL went in search of some kind of magic and found it on a steamy night in Calle de la Virgen.

6 George Solar Chris Coco - Na Baia
In the label boss’s opinion, the finest track on the Island Vibrations album, our first foray into the world of vinyl.

7 Sadeedo - Asafeer Portixol
A single track from a long-promised EP that’s coming early spring next year from this formidable DJ and beat maker

8 LOVA - Madre Padre (To The End Edit)
The long and winding sundown tune from up and coming Italian producer LOVA’s EP that has been our biggest Bandcamp success this season.

9 Lol Hammond - Baby Piano
And, to close, another classic, proper chill moment from a great album we managed to rescue and re-release this year.
